The idea of "changing the Economic System" and our Economic System being broken came up when I was a kid. Anything teachers told me when I was young and stupid sounded good. It was easier to spend half an hour reading an article or do homework than argue anyway. Arguing only leads to more headaches. But as I was sitting in a Professor's Office at the University of Maryland the guy practically challenges me or dares me. Basically he said that some material I was talking with him about was not something I would ever understand. He was trying to challenge me to spend more time with it. I had been watching some athlete being challenged a few days earlier. His friend wanted him to jump from the roof of the house into a small swimming pool but basically land parkour style on some tiles or blocks. And the athlete said that he thought he remembered some of the tiles were loose and he was not sure he could jump that distance safely. And this is what I began thinking. The Economy is incredibly complex. Trillions of Dollars in Private and Government Money. Do I deal with Trillions of Dollars and do I even understand Trillions of Dollars much less all the Political stuff people fight over each day? And I had to agree with the Professor. At that time I could not change the Economy. Making money is a key to happiness in life. I cannot see how that will ever change. You really have to keep working for the money and for social and economic progress.
